The majority of medics are unable to diagnose prostatitis. Many go as far as sending a sample of urine to a lab. for checking. More often than not this comes back clear as the bacteria are well hidden away in the acini, the small glands within the prostate itself.
What is required is a massaged prostate sample sent to a lab for analysis, even this may not provide any evidence but it is far better than a urine sample. Even better is a series of massaged samples over a period of a week or so. The problem is that most medics will not have the time or resources to carry out such a schedule.
